Talk Direct celebrate fund raising campaign
On Monday 12th September Talk Direct held a presentation in their Keighley O2 store to celebrate the recent Guide Dogs fund raising campaign, a fantastic charity that is very close to Talk Direct's hearts.
Across our 14 stores we are hoping to raise £5000 to sponsor a puppy that can be fully trained and go to a deserving person who is suffering from sight loss in the Yorkshire area.
The Talk Direct team have been working extremely hard to help raise money so far and have been holding several events in store including bake sales, raffles and tombola’s to name a few!
Laurie came down to store to represent the charity as he himself is a guide dog user so fully understands just how important it is that we are trying to help the charity in this way. A very special mention should go to our Keighley team who have raised a magnificent £700 so far and has gone a long way in contributing to our £2850 that we have raised so far.
Each Guide dog costs the charity £53,000, so it is very important that as much money as possible is raised for this amazing charity.
A huge well done to all the team across the estate and let's see just how quickly we can hit that magic £5000 target.
