Marketing ideas to help Talk Direct's project iCare

Over the last few months Talk Directs Mark Skelton has been working with Eya Hamed who is a student at Leeds Beckett university, on marketing ideas to help Talk Direct's project iCare. The work carried out was not only a huge help to the company but would also be marked as part of Eya's MBA degree.

Eya was really fantastic to work with and really did get behind what we are trying to achieve.

Eya spent time out in the community at places such as Action for the blind and the Sheffield Royal Society for the blind, interviewing visually impaired people about what technology means for them. This research was vital as the difference in the information gathered was quite eye opening. Eya also spent time with Mark and some of our store gurus at events we put on to show the visually impaired what a difference a smart phone or tablet can make.

Her recent presentation of her work to Mark and Linda Jones was very impressive and excellently delivered. The work she did and the recommendations offered up will certainly but used in the future.

Talk Direct would very much like to thank Eya and wish her every success in the future.
