O2 Guru day at SRSB

"The Sheffield Royal Society for the Blind (SRSB) has been very pleased to hear about the iCare initiative that Mark Skelton has been working on.
It is great that Talk Direct have developed this project in response to the challenges faced by Mark as he lost his own sight.
They have turned this into a positive, not only for Mark as a staff member, but now for many other visually impaired and blind people.
We are not aware that any other phone shop offers this kind of service for people with sight loss and we hope that this model will expand not only within Talk Direct/02, but across many other shops too. We are working with Mark and Linda on an 02 Guru Day here at SRSB’s centre in Sheffield, where our clients will be given advice about smart phones/tablets and we will be helping Talk Direct to spread the word about this excellent addition to their Customer Service.
We have sent invitations to over 3,000 clients and we expect a good response to the event."
