Jimmy Choo Visits Leeds for The Diana Award Charity

Jimmy Choo - DenhamLegendary shoe designer Jimmy Choo came to Leeds for a lunch given in his honour by the Diana Award charity. Jimmy Choo was the shoe designer for Princess Diana and has recently been announced as an Ambassador the youth charity set up in her memory.

 

Zak Patel (Talk Direct Chairman and Pugata CEO) hosted dinner at Mumtaz Leeds for Jimmy Choo joined by his wife, Mrs Choo, and the Diana Award team on Tuesday 5th September. Zak was also joined by Tessy Ojo (CEO of The Diana Award), Linda Jones (MD of Talk Direct), Rab Nawaz (CEO of Mumtaz Leeds), Sean Jarvis (Commercial Director of Huddersfield Town Football Club) and Naz Parker from Kirklees Council.

Jimmy Choo along with his wife, Diana Award CEO, Carol Smillie and Gaynor Faye visited Zak's other business retail store ‘Denham’ in Leeds on Wednesday 6th September after their Diana Awards event. Jimmy Choo was really impressed with our Jeans and even took a pair away with him.



Zak Patel said: "It was an honour to host Mr and Mrs Choo and the respected guests. Jimmy inspired me and my team with his valuable words and I was delighted he loved the food and our Denham clothing."

 

Talk Direct have proudly supported The Diana Award for many years. The charity, which is celebrating it’s 20th anniversary this year, was set up in memory of Diana, Princess of Wales, and her belief that young people have the power to change the world for the better. It is committed to fostering, inspiring and developing positive change in the lives of young people through practical social action. Today it has the support of both her sons The Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry.
