O2 store in Skipton provide excellent customer service

find my iphoneTalk Direct staff at the O2 store in Skipton were able to help locate a customer's lost phone.

After leaving his phone in the town centre public toilets, and being unable to find it on a return visit, out Talk Direct customer decided to visited the O2 store in Skipton to see if the team could help him to track the phone. The store staff told the customer about ‘Find My iPhone’ function and the benefits of the service.

After logging into the customer’s iCloud in-store, staff were able to locate the phone in a pub at the top of the street. The customer informed the police and went to the pub to see if anyone had picked the phone up by mistake or if the staff knew where the phone was. In the meantime, the police also arrived at the pub.

The O2 Skipton team member was able to ‘ping’ the iPhone from store using the customers iCloud account, which resulted in the phone continuously beeping until the police and customer found it in a bin in the pub. The customer was extremely grateful for the help in locating his iphone.

This shows the importance of switching on your location services on your phone and enabling the ‘Find My Pphone’ function to ensure you can locate your phone if you misplace it or it gets stolen.

Well done for the team in Skipton for going above and beyond in providing an excellent customer service.
