myGuide Training for Talk Direct O2 Gurus
Talk Direct O2 Gurus receive exclusive myGuide training from "Guide Dogs" to get a better understanding of blind and visually impaired people’s needs.
To help our staff get a better understanding of blind and visual impaired people’s needs, our staff received a full day of “Life Skills” training.
Our Gurus took the 'myguide' 'Blind fold' challenge which the team discovered is much harder than you imagine ..
The team also got to wear simulation specs to appreciate the feeling of different types of sight loss and complete an in-depth True or False discussion, detailing interesting insights and facts on the visually impaired that we just assumed and didn't know.
All staff successfully received their certification from Vision2020 – a charity leading the collaboration of interested organisations in order to improve the eye health of the UK, prevent avoidable sight loss, and ensure inclusion and participation of people who have impaired vision in society.
