Steve Waller from Rotherham Sight and Sound gave his great feedback from the recent Talk Direct O2 Guru Team visit, led by Mark Skelton - Community Projects Manager.

Mark and Dan Carey from the Rotherham shop came to Rotherham Sight and Sound to give a talk about how the Guru service has grown to encompass additional support for the visually impaired. The service was expanded following Mark's own personal experience of technology issues as he is registered blind himself.

Mark and his colleague explained and demonstrated several apps that could potentially help visually impaired android and iphone users. They both explained several ways to make the iphone and ipad I have more accessibility with the use of magnification, the "voice over" feature and Siri.

All in all the Guru Service, which is free, is a brilliant innovation for those that want to know more and expand their knowledge and make their technology more accessible.

Hats off to Mark and his O2 Guru team for a very informative and friendly afternoon.
