On Thursday 18th May 2017 Talk Direct's Zak, Linda and Habib were invited to go St. James Palace for the Diana Inaugural Legacy Award where twenty exceptional young people from across the world were recognised for their qualities of kindness and compassion.

The event was attended by the Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry. The Duke paid tribute to his mother, saying she still inspires "countless acts of compassion and bravery".

He and Prince Harry were making their first joint appearance at an event run by the Diana Award, established to promote their mother's belief in the positive power of young people.

Award winners included a teenager from North Yorkshire who set up a swimming club for young people with disabilities.

The Diana Award was set up in memory of Diana, Princess of Wales, and her belief that young people have the power to change the world. The charity, which runs anti-bullying and mentoring programmes, is unique as it also rewards young people who carry out inspiring work without expectation of reward.

Each year thousands of young people are nominated by individuals and their communities to highlight these selfless acts.
